Flying Away! Here comes Ravenclaw.

So, this is the clever house, and from the books, one of the more... interesting houses, producing two villains, a hated character, and a beloved heroine as well. If nothing else, it is a complex house, and this definitely seems to carry over to the members of the house on Pottermore as well.
Heavy are the heads that wear the diadem, so why wear it at all!

So, like Gryffindor, it's important to know the leadership of a house first and oddly enough, or perhaps, more predictably, Ravenclaw doesn't seem to have a real "leader" with the only ones being Identified were the users Professor Hazel Hawthorn, Tufty, or Enigma, with influence only to the groups they have, but others would state that the leadership was more charisma based, dependant on quantity of speech, while others, like with Gryffindor, stated that big points and senority rule. What's interesting is from the answers, there seemed to be more ambivilance or distain towards authority in general. Also, given that most of this was prior to the post removal, it did have a slight influence on not only who emerged as leaders, but why, given that the ravenclaw common room was described as something of a wild west of random role players.

Probably not part of the in-crowd
As for working for others? Surely Ravenclaw joins the fight? Well... not exactly. Results were mixed, with one response stating that interhouse co-operation was like kissing one's sister, and yet another said that there were some in the higher ranks that would openly distain the idea, or meet it with ambivalence. In some regards, this makes sense, though somewhat jarring compared to the other house responses.

However, for the most part Ravenclaws do consider themselves inclusive, especially when the new users want to earn. Most of the rankings, save one, marked the in-house groups as very inclusive and welcoming, with some rankings stating that they felt very unwelcome. Furthermore, this inclusivity and welcoming comes with a warning from one of the respondants, stating that the seniority and elders rule was in effect, and disrespecting an established user is very frowned upon.

So let's end this on a positive note: The members of Ravenclaw are here to tell any new user that they are a house of variety, and the differences are what makes the experience great (Prophecydragon26697). They are a friendly and welcoming house, and a house of individualists, but they do work together, and that there are wlaways those that want to be nice and help, so patience with the house is key. And finally, HollyPatronus178 wants to remind you all, not to judge them, just because they strive for knowledge.

So Join us next time, as we go over Hufflepuff!
