The last of Goblet of Fire

Meh.... Okay, okay. I KNOW that it seems like an odd response to the new chapters. It kinda is. But here's the problem: it didn't add much.


This is the usual problem that Pottermore has, and aside from the maze, there wasn't much that was worth talking about and lauding. There's more moments to explore, but some chapters got ignored as they did previously. Nothing really worth mentioning, and I know it isn't a very good post, or an interesting one to say anything more in reaction than "meh".

So instead, I'll spend time pointing out everything they COULD/SHOULD have done.

1. WHERE ARE OUR NEW SPELLS/DUEL MECHANICS? Honestly, I think the community has been ready for this one for ages, and I'm surprised they didn't think to add something like priori incantetem or spell effects on people by now. 
2. Potions...... why haven't they gotten the overhaul they so dearly deserve? You guys did it once. Added a lot of mechanics at once. Time to do it again, and overhaul things into Pottermore 3.0
3. Add games in the maze, the lake... honestly? Is it too hard to go and say "let's have a game where you click on grindylows to push them away (like the spider game)" 
4. Add more games.... period. We've waited 3 years for Wizard's Chess.....
5. Add more leaderboards 
6. Have the fight against Voldemort be cut up into different "moments" or zooms for the moment, like they do with the Voldemort coming out of the cauldron
7. The added JKR exclusives were good but there were two noticeably missing, that seemed to sort of be in dire need, and would have been something that would have been reported on at Hypable and the like. "What is that potion called, how does it work, how did voldemort invent it" and "what, more precisely is priori incantatem, and were there any other noticeable instances of this?"
8. Allow us to read those books they put in Flourish and Blotts
9. Allow us to use trunk items
10. Please, isn't it time to open up a few more shops in Diagon Alley?
